Hello, I'm Minnie!

I have dual NZ and UK citizenship and relocated to the UK in May 2024.

​

I graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Honours), First Class Honours in Textile Design from Massey University in April 2023. My passion for textile design stems from my love of drawing, collage, colours, and patterns. I have developed a diverse portfolio of textile designs, using different techniques and mediums, such as surface pattern design, screen print and embroidery. I am keen to apply and grow my creative skills within the industry, and to explore new opportunities and challenges.

In December 2023, I was a textile design intern at Kowtow. I worked alongside the design team to create designs for sustainable and ethical clothing. I contributed to the development of a surface pattern design and a screen print placement design. I gained valuable insights into the textile industry and its environmental and social impact.

Since graduating, I have been working in office administration roles whilst looking for a suitable design opportunity.
